CEO iSEE Magazine and Gov. Emeka Ihedioha
So far, I must say that I’m impressed with the administration of His Excellency Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, since he took office from the past administration of Sen. Rochas Okorocha in which Imolites condemned because their expectations were not met.
Now, my question is, is there still time for His Excellency, Rt Hon. Emeka Ihedioha to accomplish his promises to Imolites? My candid advice, Your excellency, is that Imolites believe in you and they fought for your success during the election, so this is the time to pay back by fulfilling the promises you made to them during your campaign. Please do not let Imolites down because I’m afraid, there’s no time on your side anymore. What you can’t achieve within this first tenure, i doubt the possibility of achieving it in your second tenure if given the chance again. So please avoid all distractions “The past adminitration and godfatherizm” and focus on rebuilding Imo State which you promised us, although they say ‘Change is contant”
Many people especially the wrong advisers will push you out of your way in order to sabotage your government and be kicked out as others were kicked out after 4 years, but be wise and allow the respective executives to take care of their duties while you focus on rebuilding Imo State. Fighting corrupt persons won’t stop corruption in the system but fighting the corruption in the system will stop people from being corrupt. For example, allow EFCC to take care of the Ex-Governor’s alleged looted funds and also the probing committee you set up to investigate on the state stolen properties and whatever the result(s) maybe, you take it and move on. The money the federal government recovered from Late Gen. Sani Abacha and others, what did they do with it and where is the money? Who is accountable for it? and how has it changed or impacted any change in Nigeria? The masses don’t care about the past, we care about the present and the future. Wise leaders focus on the future and what they can do to better the lives of their people while the bad leaders focus on fighting their opponents out of their personal problems and end up doing nothing for the masses that voted them in. Remember the mentality of our people, as they are praising you, they are also watching and counting your days in the office. It is better to work along with their time than to wait until pressure comes in, then you will become more distracted and end up not meeting your target.
Gov. Emeka Ihedioha
You are elected only for 4 years, but your good job within this first 4 years will determine the possibility of your second tenure. Remember many are on que to succeed you. Be wise and use your time wisely because there’s NO TIME.
